INTRODUCTION TO THE
2021
MORRIS COUNTY MANUAL
It is with pleasure that I introduce the 2021 Morris County Manual, the
purpose of which is to provide a centralized resource for residents regarding
their government. The Manual has been produced annually by the County Clerk
since 1906 and I am happy to continue with this historic tradition.
The Manual contains important information to help serve the more than
492,000 Morris County residents. In this Manual you will find the names of
hundreds of men and women who give of their time and talents to serve on the
federal, state, county and municipal level. These people are elected officials,
employees and volunteers. The thousands of separate entries provide a quick
and reliable guide to who, what, when and where at all levels of government
serving Morris County.
In this Manual you will find details for each of the 39 municipalities, listing
names, addresses, contact information and other relevant data. You will also
find listings for Constitutional Offices, The Board of Commissioners, Morris
County Departments, Independent Agencies, Newspapers and Radio Stations,
New Jersey Hotlines, State Executive Officials, Zip Codes, Congressional and
Legislative District Maps, State Legislators, Authorities and Boards, Courts, and
much more.
I would also like to congratulate Conner Everett, a student at Morris
Catholic High School, who won first prize in the annual Morris County Manual
Contest. It is his design that your see gracing the front cover of this Manual.
I look forward to serving you throughout the year and I hope the Manual
becomes a valuable resource for you too.

DEDICATION OF THE
2021 MORRIS COUNTY MANUAL
IT WOULD NOT BE RIGHT TO PUBLISH THIS MANUAL WITHOUT
ACKNOWLEDGING THE UNPRECEDENTED DISRUPTION, HARDSHIPS
AND CHALLENGES THAT THE PANDEMIC HAS CREATED IN OUR EVERY
DAY LIVES, FAMILIES, FRIENDSHIPS AND FUTURE. EVERYONE HAS
BEEN DEEPLY IMPACTED BY THE OUTBREAK OF THE 2020 PANDEMIC,
WHICH CONTINUES INTO THIS YEAR. IT IS, THEREFORE, APPROPRIATE
TO RECOGNIZE THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE PLACED THE SAFETY
AND WELLBEING OF OTHERS ABOVE THEIR OWN. THESE ARE THE
UNSUNG HEROES WHO CONTINUE TO HELP US MOVE FORWARD. THE
2021 MORRIS COUNTY MANUAL IS DEDICATED TO THEM.
MORRIS COUNTY CLERKS STAFF
THIS MANUAL IS DEDICTED TO THE MORRIS COUNTY CLERKS
STAFF, WHO WHEN CONFRONTED WITH THE DANGER PRESENTED BY
THE PANDEMIC, FAITHFULLY REPORTED TO WORK EACH DAY
THROUGHOUT 2020, AND CONTINUES TO DATE TO PROVIDE
OUTSTANDING SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC.
IN MEMORY OF MATTHEW STEHR
THE MANUAL IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF OUR COWORKER
MATTHEW STEHR WHO PASSED AWAY IN APRIL OF 2020 DUE TO
COMPLICATIONS FROM THE CORONAVIRUS. MATT, AS HE WAS KNOWN
BY HIS FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES, WAS EMPLOYED AS AN ASSISTANT
SUPERVISOR FROM 2002 2020. HE WAS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE
CLERKS OFFICE AND IS GREATLY MISSED.
TO THOSE WHO FAITHFULLY SERVE OUR COMMUNITY
THIS MANUAL IS DEDICATED TO ALL OF THE BRAVE MEN AND
WOMEN WHO SERVE AS FRONT-LINE HEALTH CARE WORKERES, FIRST
RESPONDERS AND SERVICE INDUSTRY WORKERS. OUR HEARTFELT
GRATITUDE FOR ALL YOU DO WITH SELFLESS DEVOTION.
