increased

to

and

the field
of sports
including,

The
issue relating
to recruitment
of
coaches
in future
appointments
in
SAI
was
discussed at
length.
Some
of
the Members
were
of the
view
that the
persons
having
sports
background
should
be
given
more
weightage
at
the time
of recruitment.
However,
it
was felt
that
a transparent
and
objective
system
is also
necessary.
After detailed
discussions,
it
was
decided
that
a
sub-
comminee
comprising
the
following
members
may
be
constituted
to examine
the
issue
and submit
its recommendations
to
the Governing
Body
at its next
meeting.

The

informed
that
the
experiment
of
recruiung

Directors
from
the
lvaitlisted
candidates
of
the
civil service
Examination
conducted
by the
upsc
every
year
has
proved
to be fast,
cost
effective
and transparent.
This
has
also
helped
in
filling
the
competency
gaps.
After
deliberations,
the
GB approved
the
proposal
and
directed
DG
to obtain
all necessary
approvals
from
the Ministry(s).

This
item
was not
agreed
to. Instead,
it
was
decided
to
go
in
for
hearth
insurance
schemes
being
provided
by insurance
companies

serving

employees.

decide

and
tariff for
booking

stadia

non-sports
events.
