Articulation Agreement of Academic Programs
between
Cape Cod Community College and Bristol Community College
The above institutions hereby enter into an agreement to facilitate the transfer of students enrolling in
the A.S. Funeral Service Program at Cape Cod Community College from Bristol Community
College’s Thanatology and Funeral Service Preparatory Certificate.
Cape Cod Community College’s designated representative will be the Coordinator of Transfer and
Articulation and Bristol Community College’s representative will be the Assistant Director of Transfer
Services.
Objectives:
To attract qualified students to Cape Cod Community College and Bristol Community College.
To promote and facilitate an efficient transition of students completing the Bristol Community
College Thanatology and Funeral Service Preparatory Program and the Cape Cod Community
College Funeral Service Program.
To provide specific information and guidelines for transfer students.
To encourage academic coordination and cooperation between Cape Cod Community College
and Bristol Community College.
Stipulations:
Cape Cod Community College guarantees acceptance of Bristol Community College students
who complete the coursework as outlined in this document with a 2.0 GPA.
Mutual Responsibilities:
Both institutions agree to maintain current listings of the course equivalencies. This will be the
responsibility of the two designated representatives.
Cape Community College and Bristol Community College will incorporate a summary of this
agreement into official publications and web sites.
Cape Cod Community College and Bristol Community College agree to encourage qualified
students to participate in this program by providing information, advising and other assistance required
to foster degree completion at both institutions.
Review/Revision:
Both institutions will periodically review this agreement. Substantive changes in the courses or
program of either institution will require a review of this articulation agreement. Revisions will be
implemented with one year notice prior to termination of the agreement.
