We’re Devlin and Ben, a Canadian couple living and working in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. We’ve left the big city of Toronto to live the small town island life!
We now live in a house surrounded by palm trees, iguanas and crowing roosters, and you can usually find us relaxing at the beach and frolicking in the ocean, or off on one of our frequent travel adventures.
We also brought with us our adopted cat, Nino, who is wondering how he can rid himself of his winter coat.
We adopted an island mutt (aptly renamed her Islay) on our first volunteer trip to the Cayman Humane Society.
The name for Happily in Pursuit came from watching Hector and the Pursuit of Happiness. Towards the end, Christopher Plummer’s character has a line that goes like this:
We should concern ourselves not so much with the pursuit of happiness, but with the happiness of pursuit.
And we thought that perfectly described – we’re so happily in pursuit. Happiness to us is a by-product, found in the adventure of experiencing new things and starting a new life.
We hope you’ll follow along in our pursuit. Subscribe to get notifications on new blog posts!
